Savour a trip to Korea without having to leave town. For one night only, Chef Jaeyoung (John) Oh, Executive Sous Chef from Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, will present a signature four-course menu for discerning diners in Kuala Lumpur. “I’m very honoured to be representing my country’s cuisine in Malaysia,” says Chef John, who won the Gold Medal at the Korean Food Festival Awards a few years ago.
Sample specialties such as grilled galbi (marinated wagyu beef), clear fish dumpling soup, and Korean crepe. The authentic Korean flavours of the feast can be paired beautifully with fine soju.
Korean Chef’s Table will be available at Curate on September 6. The set menu is priced at MYR 208 per adult and additional MYR 80 with free flow soju, inclusive of prevailing taxes.
Korean Weekend Brunch, September 7-8, 2019

Catch the city’s latest weekend brunch in an intriguing new avatar, with Chef John’s menu showcasing the vibrancy of Korean food. Enjoy the bright, beloved flavours of jabchae (royal stir-fried glass noodles and vegetables) and bibimbap (mixed rice with vegetables and egg), or venture into more exotic territory with saengseon yangnyeomgu-i (marinated roasted fish with chili soy sauce) and haemul pajeon (seafood and green onion pancake). With its airy and inviting ambience, Curate is the perfect venue for a relaxed afternoon with family or friends.
Korean Weekend Brunch will be available at Curate from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm. It is priced at MYR 210 per adult for brunch only, MYR 348 per adult with free flow cocktails and wine (with one glass of welcome champagne), and MYR 488 per adult with free flow champagne. Kids age 5 and older eat and drink for MYR 105. All prices are nett inclusive of prevailing taxes.

As recently appointed Head Bartender, Sophia is in the process of revamping the menu, so connoisseurs at Bar Trigona can expect to sample some of her newly minted creations.
Guests can also sample innovative concoctions from Dew Choi, Senior Bartender at Charles H. at Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, which currently holds the title of Best Bar in Korea on the coveted list of Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2019. From unusual ingredient blends to playful twists of flavour, Dew’s knack for out-of-the-box recipes has catapulted her into the spotlight.

With a long list of accolades under his belt, Head Bartender Keith Motsi brings cutting-edge credentials to the bar table, mixing up inventive drinks with a splash of surprise. Keith is joined by his Senior Bartender Dew Choi. Explore a bespoke cocktail menu, priced at MYR 45 per drink and complemented by a selection of tapas including ddeok-galb (grilled soy sauce marinated short rib patties) and chamchi gimbap (Korean rice roll with tuna).
