A total of ten (10) additional confirmed COVID-19 cases (Cases 84 to 93) were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH. They are all currently receiving treatment. Investigation and identification of close contacts for testing are currently ongoing.
All the additional cases reported today are close contacts to Case 33. Of these, four (4) cases (Cases, 85, 86, 87 and 93) are the first-generation close contacts to Case 33, while six (6) cases (Cases 84, 88, 89, 90, 91 and 92) are the second-generation close contacts to Case 33. They were all identified during contact tracing activities and have been admitted to the isolation wards in hospitals for further management.
