A horror comedy film making its way in theaters this Syawal 2020.
United Studios officially announces today that they will be distributing a new film titled 'Syif Malam Raya’ soon to be released in theaters nationwide next month, in the month of Syawal. The marketing of this horror comedy film was kicked-off last week with the release of its official poster and character posters via digital platform. Last night, the official trailer was released on United Studios’ Youtube channel. The 95-second video hit more than 60,000 views with almost 5,000 likes in less than 12 hours after it was released to the public.
Produced by Ray Theme Sdn. Bhd., Syif Malam Raya, tells the story about four friends who had a series of bizarre incidents while on their way returning to their hometown on the eve of raya. The situation became overwhelming as they arrived at a village which was chaos with the appearance of a ‘pocong’. Starred two members of comedian trio Zero, Atu and Sharif as the lead, Syif Malam Raya is a debut for three well-known Youtubers, Yoe Parey, Syahmi Sazly and Asif Suhaimi. Also starring in the film is Saiful Zero and legendary comedians Saiful Apek, Azlee Senario, and Ropie, alongside popular female actresses Reen Rahim, Nadia Brian and Lia Natalia.
Syif Malam Raya has just recently concluded filming which began in February, and currently in the final stages of post-production process and awaiting confirmation of their release date from the Wajib Tayang committee.
