The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 21 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,075 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (97.0% of total cumulative cases).
A total of 14 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 9,354 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 151 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.
Of the 14 additional cases reported today, five (5) are imported cases who were infected overseas, all involving non-Malaysians.
Of the nine (9) local transmission cases, five (5) are among Malaysians and four (4) are among non-Malaysians.
Currently, five (5) confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with three (3) patients on ventilation support.
Regretfully, one (1) additional COVID-19 death was reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 128 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.37% of total cumulative cases)
