The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 28 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 9,967 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (88.8% of total cumulative cases).
A total of 89 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 11,224 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 1,121 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.
Of the 89 additional cases reported today, three (3) are imported cases who were infected overseas, all non-Malaysians.
Of the 86 local transmission cases reported today, 84 cases are Malaysians and two (2) cases are non-Malaysians.
Currently, 16 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with three (3) patients on ventilation support.
Regretfully two (2) additional COVID-19 deaths were reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 136 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.21% of total cumulative cases).
