The Ministry of Health (MOH) would like to inform that 188 cases have fully recovered and discharged today. Cumulatively, 10,707 confirmed COVID-19 cases have been discharged (72.7% of total cumulative cases).
A total of 354 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported to the National Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) MOH today. Cumulatively there are now 14,722 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Malaysia. Therefore, there are currently 3,863 active and infective COVID-19 cases. They have all been isolated and given treatment.
Of the 354 cases reported today, two (2) are imported cases who were infected overseas.
Of the 352 local transmission cases, 332 cases are Malaysians and 20 cases non-Malaysians.
Currently, 68 confirmed COVID-19 cases are receiving treatment in the intensive care units (ICUs), with 25 patients on ventilation support.
Regretfully, six (6) additional COVID-19 deaths were reported to the National CPRC MOH today. Cumulatively, there are now 152 COVID-19 deaths in Malaysia (1.03% of total cumulative cases)
