Introducing Jom Buka@Nook this Ramadan at Aloft’s all-day dining restaurant, Nook. Championing Malaysian cuisine, the culinary team have prepared a lavish buffet spread for families and friends to experience the best of Malaysia’s heritage cuisine. Crafted by Executive Chef Arfizan and Chef de Cuisine, Chef Rais along with their talented team, the spread includes Malaysian favorites such as Kambing Bakar, Sous-Vide Beef Rendang, Sup Periuk, Bubur Lambur, a satay station, rojak station, Kerabu Jantung Pisang, Pajeri Nenas Manis, Nasi Briyani Johor, Assam Pedas Stingray, and more. Guests can also quench their thirst with a wide selection of beverages including Air Tebu, Sirap Bandung, Air Kurma and Air Jagung. The buffet is priced at RM148nett per person. Guests can also opt to bring a taste of Aloft home with our Jom Buka takeaway sets.
The Jom Buka takeaway sets, each including 10 items with a choice of three different main dishes: Daging (Beef Brisket) Masak Rendang, Kambing (Lamb) Bakar Bumbu or Ayam (Chicken) Percik Kelantan. Accompanying your main meat are moreish dishes such as Roti Telur Johan, Bubur Lambuk Ayam, Tauhu Bergedil Ayam, Nasi Minyak and Pandan Sago Gula Melaka. When we think of Ramadan, we think of our Kampung. Bringing “Desa Vibes” to Trace Restaurant at the 40th floor of Element Kuala Lumpur, Executive Chef Man and his team are setting the stakes high by curating the best of Malaysian favorites! The signature dish is close to Chef Man’s heart; Nasi Dagang, a popular local dish originated from the East Coast of Malaysia. Made from glutinous rice, coconut milk, served with mackerel fish gravy, and pickles, this dish takes Chef Man a walk down memory lane to his hometown and fond memories with his family.
