The panelist included Dato’ Dr Hartini Zainudin, Sasibai Kimis, John-Son Oei, Siti Kamariah and Raja Jesrina Raja Arshad. It was an exemplary showcase of how empowered women empower society as the speakers discussed the roles women play in leadership during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The keynote speaker, Dato' Hashimah Hashim is the CEO of Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd who came into her role during the peak of the pandemic on the 16th of March 2020. The company launched a CSR initiative branded as PJH Prihatin that worked on a multitude of initiatives and projects to help communities affected by the pandemic. Amongst the many efforts, PJH raised RM20,000 within a week to aid frontliners with essentials in March 2020 and in December 2020, PJHomes donated 5 cubicles for swab test to Hospital Putrajaya. Additionally, the efforts continued as the programs extended to assist stranded Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) students through their semester enrollment delays.
