Leveraging on AirAsia’s wide network in East Malaysia, Teleport will help UML with deliveries of all future vaccines to both Sabah and Sarawak areas which are Sandakan, Labuan, Bintulu, Miri and Sibu. These vaccines will be accorded as priority shipments on all AirAsia flights.

Teleport CEO Pete Chareonwongsak said, “Ever since the first news of the vaccines broke out, Teleport has been gearing up our capabilities to transport them. Transporting pharmaceutical shipments requires the utmost care and precision with time and temperature being the most crucial elements . With compliance to IATA Temperature Control Regulations and industry best practices, we have built up a strong, reliable infrastructure to ensure the shipment always stays within the stipulated temperature range. One of our greatest achievements from this to date was delivering medical samples in just under 8 hours from a clinic in Kota Kinabalu to a laboratory in Klang.”
