LG calls on aspiring musicians and creators to express their own “life’s good” message
Award-winning brand LG Electronics Malaysia (LG) announced that LG’s Life’s Good Music Challenge, a component of the global company’s annual Life’s Good campaign, has kicked off in Malaysia, in collaboration with popular local singer and songwriter, Syada Amzah.
LG’s Life’s Good campaign gives young people around the world the opportunity to let their creativity flow and talent shine. First launched last year, the Life’s Good Music Challenge calls on aspiring, young performers aged between 15 to 35 years old to share their own compositions expressing LG’s uplifting Life’s Good message.
Anyone who loves music and can hum a tune is invited to submit an original accompaniment based on the 2021 version of the Life’s Good song, produced by Syada Amzah. The talent behind the winning entries will stand the chance to win a brand new 27'' UltraGear UHD Nano IPS 1ms 144Hz HDR600 Monitor with G-SYNC® Compatibility (which is set to make its debut in Malaysia very soon) and the LG TONE Free FN7 , along with the opportunity to complete and perform the song with Syada.
Submissions to the Life’s Good Music Challenge can be made by uploading the video onto Instagram or YouTube with the hashtags #LifeisGoodMusic_LG and #LGMusicChallenge_Malaysia in the post from now until Sunday, 8th August 2021. Full entry details can be found on Syada Amzah’s video on Instagram.
“It is an honour to be selected by LG to take part in this amazing campaign,” said Syada. “I am excited and looking forward to working together with up-and-coming singer-songwriters who want to grow their talent and presence in the local music industry.”
To accompany the 2021 Life’s Good campaign, LG has also created a brand channel on GIPHY offering a variety of cheerful GIF stickers – that can be used on Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.
