Roar Ahead This Chinese New Year at IPC Shopping Centre and Receive A Woohoo of Blessings

Visit the Tree of Blessings and Tiger Garden for exclusive promotions and rewards this Lunar New Year

IPC Shopping Centre celebrates the auspicious Lunar New Year with a bold and ferocious shopping experience to reward shoppers with five blessings this year of the Tiger. From now until 13th February 2022, shoppers are set to enjoy special Chinese New Year promotions and great rewards when they shop at IPC Shopping Centre.

According to the Chinese horoscope, the Tiger zodiac sign is a symbol of strength and courage. To usher in the year of the Tiger, IPC has brought to life the theme of ‘The Year of the Woohoo: Five Blessings at Your Doorstep’. Inspired by the ‘Wu Hu Jiang’ or better known as the Five Tiger generals, each Tiger represents the core offerings available at IPC Shopping Centre - Abundance (Supermarket), Prosperity (Fashion), Happiness (Dining), Health (Optical, Health, Wellness) and Longevity (Home).

Shoppers who spend a minimum of RM188 in two receipts will receive a red wishing amulet to pen down their wishes and hang them on the Tree of Blessings at the Tiger Garden. As the wishes on the tree grows, five lucky winners will randomly be selected weekly to receive e-vouchers and more rewards. In addition, shoppers who spend RM200 in two receipts are eligible to receive RM10 Woohoo E-Vouchers, while those who spend RM688 in three receipts will be rewarded with a Fortune Bowl set. Furthermore, IPC Tack Club members will enjoy the same promotional offers at a lower shopping value.

“This Chinese New Year, IPC hopes to encourage and spread positive energy on the back of the multitude of challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. Many are looking to a new start this 2022 and we want to inspire and encourage Malaysians to embrace the new year with joy and unity in the year of the Tiger. We hope that during this festivity, IPC will continue to be the home away from home where family, friends and loved ones can come together to celebrate prosperity and be rewarded with blessings for the new year,” said Mark Tan, Marketing Manager of IPC Shopping Centre.

As part of the brand’s digitization efforts, shoppers are encouraged to visit the Tiger Garden and scan the respective QR codes to find out more on the ongoing promotions and deals by the tenants at IPC Shopping Centre. There is also an interactive augmented reality Kung “Hu” workshop where both adults and children can have fun and stay active through a series of fun martial art moves such as the famous Crane Stance and Tiger Fist.

Shoppers will also be entertained with fun and exciting activities such as thrilling Lion dance shows, appearance by the God of Prosperity, cultural performances, kids craft workshops, calligraphy and many more.

Ensuring that shoppers have peace of mind, IPC has increased its sanitisation efforts and is committed to a high standard of hygiene, contact tracing, and social distancing protocols according to the latest government directives to curb the spread of the virus to ensure the safety of all shoppers, tenants, and the community.
