The Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs paid a visit to Carsome Certified Lab

Yang Berhormat Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi, Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, paid a visit to Carsome Certified Lab in Bandar Bukit Raja, Klang. The working visit was also accompanied by YBhg. Datuk Azman Bin Mohd Yusof, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs and senior officials of the Ministry.

The purpose of the visit is to evaluate the services provided by Carsome, one of the local companies that have received Anugerah Syarikat Bertaraf Unicorn from the Prime Minister, Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri Bin Yaakob, and the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) as one of Malaysia's most successful startup companies.

Carsome is the largest integrated car e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and the first "Unicorn" company in Malaysia. Carsome provides vehicle purchasing, sales and financing services using high-quality technology and can be a benchmark in the distribution trade sector, especially for the motor vehicle sub-sector.

The Honorable Minister has launched the "Carsome Certified" logo, a new standard for buying pre-owned cars in Malaysia. The "Carsome Certified" logo is the status given to vehicles that have passed 175 Carsome inspection points to ensure each Carsome Certified vehicle is free from floods and severe accidents, and is sold at a fixed price without any hidden charges, money back guarantee within five (5) days, and one (1) year warranty.

Each Carsome Certified car has also undergone a "Carsome Certified Repair Process", which includes mechanical and general repairs, body and paint restoration, professional details and rigorous quality checks by skilled and experienced technicians at Carsome Certified Lab.

The Ministry always supports and welcomes initiatives and efforts, especially in the motor vehicle distribution sector, to improve the quality of services and consumer protection guarantees in line with the Ministry's role in protecting the interests of consumers.
