Celebrate the best of the nation with a product line-up ranging from exclusively designed scarves, tote bag, drinkwares, and Starbucks card.
Starbucks Malaysia recently launched its limited edition designer merchandise collection with the homegrown fashion brand dUCk, which is now available at all Starbucks® stores in Malaysia and Brunei. Featuring dUCk’s iconic shades of purple, this collection of drinkware and lifestyle accessories celebrates the stylish go-getters, and purveyors of an active lifestyle who take on the world, one sip at a time.
“As Starbucks continues to provide an international platform championing inclusivity, belonging and the courage to challenge the everyday, we are delighted to partner with dUCk, a female-led business that made its start in Malaysia and has since become an icon of hijabista fashion,” said Dato’ Sydney Quays, Group CEO of Berjaya Food Berhad and managing director of Starbucks Malaysia & Brunei. “The dUCk + Starbucks line captures the essence to live boldly and leave a positive legacy on the world, and we’re excited to offer our customers that opportunity with this collection.”
“After my house and the office, Starbucks is my third home! I’m in awe of how this established brand keeps on growing and connecting with Malaysians throughout the years - it’s so inspiring,” said Vivy Yusof, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer of The dUCk Group. “I love working with brands who make an impact to society and you can see that in Starbucks from even the smiles on their baristas’ faces everyday. It’s a dream come true to be collaborating with them today, I hope this is the beginning for a lot of amazing projects together.”
Vivy Yusof founded dUCk in 2014 through her passion and love for stylish scarves and the intention of showing women that wearing scarves should be celebrated. The brand has since gained worldwide acclaim and later developed into what is known today as the dUCk Group. The brand’s narrator, D, considers immersing into the world of fashion as a creative outlet for her to express herself and that the designs are inspired by her stories and experiences of travel.
Inspired by nature and optimism, the dUCk + Starbucks “Blooming” collection includes beautifully elegant scarves, including a shawl and a nano scarf with a Starbucks charm, a foldable tote bag, a thermos and an exclusive Starbucks card. Two other drinkwares, including a cold cup and a tumbler will also launch in October of this year. Prices to start from RM95.
This limited-time merchandise collaboration is available on 27 September 2022, at Starbucks® stores in Malaysia and Brunei. The dUCk + Starbucks card is exclusive to Malaysia only.
