Epson Malaysia participated in the Kuala Lumpur International Audio Visual Show (KLIAVS) held at the InterContinental Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The exhibition took place from 28 October – 30 October 2022, marking Epson’s 5th year of participation at KLIAVS. Epson participated this year to showcase a full range of home projector line-ups around three concepts: Family Bonding, Me-Time, and Reconnecting.
Ng Ngee Khiang, Managing Director of Epson Malaysia, said, “In today’s society, we see a surging demand for digital screening as we move towards digitalization. There are various functions that projectors offer to meet the different needs that we have. Rather than opting for costlier smart TVs, today’s projectors can deliver cinematic picture quality and the flexibility to turn rooms into multi-functional spaces that can accommodate a workout, gaming, or family movie night.”
Epson’s full range of product line-up during KLIAVS includes seven home projector models such as EH-TW7000, EH-LS500B, EF-11, EF-12, EH-TW5825, EH-TW9400, and EH-LS12000B. Skilled gamer and Epson’s special guest, Noel Nuo Yao, also attended to demonstrate her gaming experience using Epson projectors like the EH-LS12000B, which are designed with gamers in mind.
The projector is capable of gaming up to 4K at 120 frames per second, along with input lag times below 20 ms, allowing serious gamers to take full advantage of the latest generation of gaming consoles and even higher-end gaming PCs.
“Gaming and e-sports, both as a hobby and competitive pursuit, is another entertainment trend that has grown significantly in Southeast Asia. It is also a market that we are particularly interested to tap into. In 2019, the sector recorded year-on-year growth of 16%. The vast and intriguing opportunities in the region make it a diverse market to watch,” said Ng.
After a pandemic-enforced gap of two years, the premier HiFi and home theatre show have returned to Malaysia for the 26th times. KLIAVS is designed to showcase the latest technology and innovations that the world’s Audio and Video consumer electronic companies have to offer discerning enthusiasts from all walks of Malaysian society. This year, KLIAVS has received over 9,000 attendees in total.
