In the spirit of sharing and giving, CTOS Digital Berhad recently arranged a CNY visit to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Orang Tua Cacat dan Kurang Upaya Taman Connaught to spread festive cheer to the local residents.
After carrying out various community outreach programs to help the public over the years, CTOS have extended their CSR initiative to senior citizens. Norine Majaman General Manager of Marketing, Investor Relations, PR & Corporate Communications at CTOS Digital Berhad, led a contingent of CTOS staff who brought a cash donation of RM20,000, as well as essential goods worth RM5,000 during a visit at the start of Chinese New Year.
“It is important to us to give back when we can and it was a pleasure to spend some quality time with the residents. The old folks’ home in Taman Connaught has a vital role in helping the elderly members of our community meet their daily needs,” commented Majaman. “I hope that the small part we play here makes a difference in the lives of the residents.”

The CTOS team brought necessities such as replacement mattresses, chairs, fortifying milk and other essentials, to the home. The residents were also treated to a special Bian Lian performance, the secret art of mask changing, which they truly enjoyed, as well as afternoon tea hosted by CTOS. Following which, Mr. Lee Cen Foong, Founder of Pertubuhan Kebajikan Orang Tua Cacat dan Kurang Upaya Taman Connaught was presented with a RM20,000 cash donation to aid the residents.
Established in January 2019 in Taman Connaught, Cheras, the centre is dedicated to the care and welfare of the elderly in the community, especially those that have been marginalized, abandoned, are immobile or suffering from Alzheimer's.
“As a non-governmental and non-profit organization, we rely heavily on donations such as this generous one from CTOS,” said Mr. Lee Cen Foong. “We would like to thank CTOS for celebrating CNY with us this year and also for the donation. For our residents, we may not be able to change their past, but we will never give up on their future.”
