Pay your Zakat and Fidyah dues just in time for Ramadan for a chance to win Umrah and Muslim-friendly travel packages to Korea from IKHLAS at the Kamya Fest to be held the Bukit Jalil National Stadium here from 10 until 12 February 2023.
Festival goers just need to download the IKHLAS mobile app, register and pay a minimum of RM50 of Zakat or Fidyah via the app to be eligible for the lucky draw where the winners will be announced on the last day of the festival. Lucky visitors can also grab exclusive IKHLAS merchandise by answering trivia questions.
IKHLAS Chief Executive Officer, Ikhlas Kamarudin said: “With more than 50,000 expected visitors at the Kamya Fest, we are very pleased to be hosting Surau IKHLAS for the benefit of Muslim patrons to perform their prayers comfortably during the three-day event.
“We encourage visitors to grab this opportunity to peruse IKHLAS’ affordable and attractive Umrah and Muslim-friendly travel packages that are on offer. With less than two months away for Ramadan, visitors to our booth will also have the convenience of paying their Zakat or Fidyah dues via the IKHLAS app.”
Launched amidst the pandemic in October 2020, IKHLAS is a shariah-compliant travel and lifestyle platform specially tailored as a conduit for Muslims to perform their religious obligations with ease. Besides halal travel services offered in conjunction with the AirAsia Aviation Group and Capital A’s other businesses, the IKHLAS app also includes obligatory faith-based practices such as Zakat, Sadaqah, Aqiqah, Fidyah and Qurban.
Meanwhile, visitors interested in pursuing tech courses can enjoy a special 23% discount on various courses from airasia academy. These include Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Software Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure and Cybersecurity. The edutech arm of Capital A is also giving away exclusive merchandise for early bird On-Demand Learning (ODL) subscribers and those who register for its Soft Skills courses until 27 February 2023 featuring interesting topics on telesales skills, customer service, leadership, team development and more.
Kamya Fest 2023 is Kamya’s inaugural project that aims to promote local talents and encourage business ventures among millennials. The event lasts three days beginning 10 until 12 February 2023 at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium. The event features close to 300 local vendors showcasing their products and services such as food and beverages (F&B), fashion, automotives, music, arts, sports and more. Among the featured celebrities include Nabila Huda, Dolla, Eja, Ayie Floor88 and many others.
