Incentives include a chance to win gold and tuition fees for university students
foodpanda Malaysia recently announced new and enhanced benefits for all delivery partners for the first quarter of 2023 including setting them on a path for career growth.
foodpanda strongly believes in supporting the growth and learning path of all delivery partners. This is evident through the various reskilling and upskilling courses that have been created for riders over the past few years. This year, foodpanda continues to advocate the importance of education among delivery partners by covering the university or college tuition fees for up to an entire year for five delivery partners.
“We are continually finding ways to improve and give back to the community through this initiative. Our goal is to reward delivery partners by helping them with their tuition fees as we understand that we have a large student community within our fleet. Being a delivery partner gives them the flexibility to work anywhere, anytime which is perfect for students to earn an additional income between classes,” said Kelvin Chan, Director of Operations, foodpanda Malaysia.
The campaign registration period is currently open for new and existing delivery partners until the end of March and the contest will run throughout the month of April. Up for grabs is up to RM145,000 in tuition fees for the top delivery partners.
Another incentive for this quarter is a contest to win a gold coin. All new delivery partners that sign up and activate their ID’s in March will be in the running to win a 10g gold coin from foodpanda. The top delivery partner with the highest number of orders between the 1st to 30th of April will win. This contest is open to delivery partners nationwide.
Other new benefits include:
- Exclusive 5G mobile plan with YES that includes a free mobile phone
- Attractive discounts for Samsung products only for delivery partners
- Discounts on a wide range of home appliances from TBM including an additional 5% off purchases above RM200.
- Together with Timsun, delivery partners can now enjoy a 15% discount on all tires
- In preparation for the upcoming Hari Raya season, delivery partners will be eligible for a free facial worth RM335 from Beauty Library
Chan added, “We are consistently looking for new partnerships which allow us to provide more
benefits to our delivery partners. Our goal for this year is to provide them with opportunities to upskill and reskill themselves, and offer them savings and convenience for things that are essential to them. We want to be able to support our delivery partners where we can.”
