McDonald’s Malaysia is back with another exciting and engaging campaign that will delight all Malaysians. The #McDDoDaDip campaign features McDonald’s popular Chicken McNuggets being offered with six different sauces for customers to choose from, starting from 11 May 2023.
Customers can enjoy all-time favourites sauces such as ‘BBQ’ and ‘Sweet N Sour’ or try out fan-favourite sauces like ‘French Cheese’, ‘Cajun’, ‘Sweet Chili’, and ‘Japanese Curry’ with their Chicken McNuggets. The #McDDoDaDip campaign promises to provide a unique taste with every bite, catering to all Malaysians.
“The McDonald’s mission is to provide ‘delicious feel-good moments’ to Malaysians from all walks of life. With the #McDDoDaDip campaign, we aim to connect with our loyal Gen Z customers who have their own unique sense of style, and their own ‘personal’ way of enjoying their Chicken McNuggets and the different sauces. This campaign is also a platform for them to showcase their creativity,” said Melati Abdul Hai, Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s Malaysia.
As part of the campaign, McDonald’s Malaysia is introducing the #McDDoDaDip Finger Dance Challenge in collaboration with local social media influencer and artist, Alif ‘ALYPH’ Abdullah. Malaysians can participate in the challenge from 15 to 21 May 2023 by showcasing their creative finger dance of dipping Chicken McNuggets in their sauces in tune with ALYPH’s #McDDoDaDip track on TikTok, with the hashtag #McDDoDaDipChallenge.
There will be prizes worth up to RM50,000 up for grabs, and the grand prize winner will be personally selected by ALYPH, receiving a cash prize of RM10,000 and an exclusive limited edition McDDoDaDip Hoodie. The top 25 winners of the #McDDoDaDip Finger Dance Challenge will also be invited to an exclusive ‘McNuggets Party’ to meet and interact with ALYPH in person.
“ALYPH’s recent hit single ‘Swipe’ resonates well with the Gen Z community, making him the perfect face for our campaign. With this campaign, we hope to encourage young Malaysians to enjoy their Chicken McNuggets and at the same time showcase it in their own creative style,” added Melati.
Besides participating in the #McDDoDaDip Finger Dance Challenge, Malaysians can also look forward to exclusive merchandise for this campaign, which will be revealed on McDonald’s Malaysia’s social media channels very soon.
