Enhanced Ventilation and Clean Air Flow across over 300 Alpro outlets nationwide
In view of the recent resurgence of COVID-19 cases, and workplaces[1], particularly those in enclosed settings, pose a heightened risk of viral infections through air transmission, Alpro Group, the holding company of Malaysia’s largest prescription pharmacy chain - Alpro Pharmacy, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a strategic partnership with Panasonic Malaysia, a renowned global leader in innovative consumer electronics, to enhance the air quality for Alpro’s patrons and employees with nanoe™X technology air purification system across all outlets and its headquarters here.
Alpro Group acknowledges that ensuring safety extends beyond traditional measures like masks and sanitisers. Therefore, the Group has shifted its emphasis towards elevating indoor air quality (IAQ). This initiative is also aligned with Alpro Group’s latest tag line “Reassurance that brings Smiles”.
Ph. Lim En Ni, Chief Pharmacist of Alpro Pharmacy said, “To us, customer assurance starts the moment patrons enter any Alpro outlets. Our goal is to make them feel safe from the moment they walk through the doors, and that includes the environment of our outlets, including the air they breathe. By providing them a peace of mind when visiting Alpro outlets, they could freely engage with our team of professionals from doctors to pharmacists, to dietitians & nutritionists, to physio-therapists, to beauty advisors."
nanoe™ X technology unveils a new standard in air quality, gently enveloping you in a shield of safety and comfort with deodorisation, suppression of pathogenic microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, virus, moulds, and allergens to creating a safe, comfortable, and clean environment.
Atsushi Yoshida, Country Head of Life Solutions, Panasonic Malaysia, said "Both Panasonic and Alpro Group shares similar missions which is contribution and enriching lives of our society, while valuing our people and protecting them by providing a safe environment for them to shop or work. Our unique technology and solutions not only keep buildings well-ventilated, cool and clean but with efficient energy usage.”
This collaboration is part of Alpro’s many efforts in fulfilling its pledge to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) and dedication to environmental and social responsibility, particularly, SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities and SDG 15: Life on Land set forth by the United Nations.
