Fares from as low as RM120* all-in for the Ho Chi Minh City – Chengdu route available for booking now
Vietjet takes a proactive step in enhancing its flight network between Vietnam and China by introducing the Ho Chi Minh City - Chengdu direct service, closely following the launch of its Ho Chi Minh City – Shanghai route in just two months. Scheduled to commence operations on the first day of the Lunar New Year, a significant holiday for both countries, this expansion reflects the airline's warmest wishes for a prosperous and joyful year ahead. The direct connection not only enhances transportation links but also plays a significant role in fostering trade and tourism between the dynamic cities and the two nations of Vietnam and China.
Inaugurating on February 10, 2024, the Ho Chi Minh City - Chengdu route will operate one daily return flight. Departing from Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Son Nhat International Airport at 19:10 (local time), the flight lands in Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU) at 00:15 the next day (local time). The return journey from Chengdu takes off at 00:50 (local time) and arrives in Ho Chi Minh City at 03:55 (local time).
Amazing fares from just RM120 all-in for the new route are up for grabs now at www.vietjetair.com or the Vietjet Air mobile app. These promotional fares are valid for travel from February 10, 2024, to March 30, 2024, and come with complimentary SkyCare travel insurance, ensuring a safe journey for Vietjet's passengers.
Malaysian passengers now have additional flight options with convenient transit in Ho Chi Minh City. Operating daily, the flights between Kuala Lumpur and Ho Chi Minh City offer passengers increased flexibility and an alternative route to Chengdu.
Ho Chi Minh City, as a bustling economic hub and the gateway to captivating destinations in Vietnam, serves as a convenient starting point for Malaysians to embark on their journey to Chengdu, the capital city of Sichuan Province in southwest China. Renowned for its rich history and vibrant culture, Chengdu beckons with diverse attractions, culinary delights, and natural wonders. This strategic addition anticipates the growing demand for travel between Malaysia and China, offering passengers an enticing opportunity to delve into the unique experiences that both Vietnam and China have to offer.
As part of its strategy to bring Southeast Asia closer to China, Vietjet is aggressively expanding its presence in the region. Vietjet Thailand has recently launched direct services connecting Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Guangzhou to the Thai capital of Bangkok, with plans to further extend connections to major Chinese cities in the near future. These direct services not only provide travellers with a variety of travel options and affordable fares but also contribute to stimulating the tourism economy between the countries and the region as a whole.
With its modern fleet of aircraft, commitment to safety, and exceptional customer service, Vietjet is poised to provide passengers with a comfortable and enjoyable new year journey. Whether travelling for business or leisure, passengers can expect a seamless and memorable experience served by dedicated and professional cabin crew.
