In a remarkable showcase of community spirit and determination, LG Electronics (M) Sdn Bhd (LG Malaysia) successfully hosted its first LG Life’s Good Run recently at Anjung Floria, Putrajaya. The event drew more than 3,000 runners, who all embodied the spirit of “Life’s Good” through a shared journey of good health and positive challenges.
The inaugural LG Life’s Good Run was designed to promote wellness and joy, encouraging participants to embrace life’s challenges in a positive manner. Tapping on the run as a catalyst, participants embarked on a journey of self-discovery, where every step forward represented progress towards a healthier and more fulfilling life. Some of the prizes awarded to the top three winners from six respective categories included LG’s best-selling products such as the LG WashTower, LG 65” OLED TV, and the LG Instaview Refrigerator.
Mr. Justin Choi, Managing Director of LG Malaysia, expressed his pride in the event's success, highlighting how it perfectly aligned with LG’s mission to create meaningful and uplifting experiences.
“This event was more than just a run; it was a celebration of vitality and the joy found in overcoming challenges,” said Mr. Justin Choi. “Seeing over 3,000 participants come together, united in the pursuit of fitness and happiness, truly epitomises the essence of Life’s Good and our tagline for this event, 'Run for the good life’.”
Participants of all ages took on the methodically crafted 5km and 10km routes, set against the scenic backdrop of Anjung Floria. The course offered a unique blend of natural beauty and vibrant energy, enhanced by gentle winds, ethereal mists, and lively music activations that kept spirits high throughout the event. Amidst the rhythm of each step and the beating of the heart, the motivated runners discovered that life is truly good when running towards a positive goal surrounded by like-minded individuals.

The event also featured numerous side activities where the carnival area was a hub of excitement. Captivating product displays, traditional Korean games, and an Instagrammable spot with a Giant Mock-Up area of LG products provided delightful surprises and created unforgettable memories for all attendees.
A special emphasis of the LG Life’s Good Run was placed on the children’s category, where young runners were encouraged to tackle personal challenges, fostering resilience and determination from an early age. Through this LG Life’s Good Run, children not only learned the value of overcoming obstacles but also embraced a mindset of positive perseverance.
Reflecting on the event, Mr. Justin added, “The LG Life’s Good Run was a testimony to the power of community and the importance of nurturing both physical and spiritual well-being. When we see challenges not as deterrents but as conduits to help us see the bigger picture in building resilience, we have taken meaningful strides towards celebrating Life’s Good.”
The overwhelming turnout and enthusiastic participation emphasised the community’s commitment to wellness and positivity, setting a promising precedent for future events. LG Malaysia extends its heartfelt gratitude to all participants, volunteers, and partners who contributed to the success of the LG Life’s Good Run 2024.
