In today's fast-paced world, prioritising matters of personal well-being is more important than ever. Thanks to advancements in technology such as mobile artificial intelligence (AI), you can now take your wellness journey to the next level with Samsung’s range of connected devices, powered by AI to make everything easier and more seamless.
Driving this suite of health AI experiences are the latest Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6, as well as the latest Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7, which open new possibilities for those committed to doing right by their bodies, whether with personalised insights that help them stay on top of their everyday wellness, or by offering coaching that empowers users to perform at their best throughout their fitness journeys.
Seamlessly integrated with Samsung’s extensive range of connected home appliances, here are four ways that users can build a holistic ecosystem that supports an active and healthy lifestyle.
Tip #1: Eat and sleep well
Start your day by understanding your body's unique needs with the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7. Samsung Health[1] gathers all data and insights unto one cohesive platform with no subscription needed.
New features like the Galaxy AI-powered Energy Score[2], calculated by evaluating your physical and mental conditions across four significant factors – Sleep, Activity, Sleeping Heart Rate and Sleeping Heart Rate Variability – will help you not only better understand the ways your health influences your daily life, but also provides insights based on your current physical state to focus your daily efforts on making improvements. Additionally, with Wellness Tips[3], you can receive personalised messages aimed at enhancing your well-being across all areas of your health journey.
Armed with this information, you can also make more informed decisions about nutrition. Download the Samsung Food app on your Galaxy Z Series smartphone to use in conjunction with the Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with AI Family Hub™+, and create personalised meals based on your health needs with Tailored Meal Plan[4], which analyses users’ information by connecting to their Samsung Health profile[5]. This ensures you are better equipped to fuel your body with nutritious meals and maintain optimal energy levels throughout the day.
Tip #2: Train well
For high performance enthusiasts looking to meet and beat their goals such as participating in a marathon, the Race feature[6] on both the Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7 lets you compare current and past performance in real-time to track progress and maintain motivation, while Personalized HR Zone[7] on the Galaxy Watch Ultra lets you work out at optimal intensity levels based on your physical capabilities.
As a fitness champion, your goal might even be taking on a triathlon. Lock in that accomplishment with the Galaxy Watch Ultra that also comes with the Multi-sports tile feature that lets you track multi-course workouts such as a triathlon, from swimming to cycling to running. To really unlock your full potential at cycling, the all-new Functional Threshold Power (FTP) accurately measures maximum cycling power in just 4 minutes with AI-powered FTP metrics[8].
During recovery and downtime, stay motivated by immersing yourself in your favorite sporting action on the thinner and lighter Galaxy Z Fold6 which comes with an even brighter fold-out screen[9]. If you are out and about, catch highlights of the action on the Galaxy Z Fold6 or Galaxy Z Flip6 smartphones while on the go, as you use Circle to Search with Google to discover new athletes to be inspired by.
Tip #3: Move well
Transform your home into a personalised fitness studio with the Workout Routine feature on your Galaxy Watch7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra, which lets you build routines by combining various exercises with Workout Routine to achieve your goals, so your daily routine stays fresh and interesting.
Tip #4: Rest well
Eating well and training hard are important parts of health and wellness, but equally important is being able to get quality sleep, so that your body can rest and recover.
The enhanced BioActive Sensor on Galaxy Watch Ultra and the Galaxy Watch7 offers increased accuracy[10] empowering you to better understand yourself with comprehensive readings. For those who often have problems sleeping, your Galaxy Watch7 also comes with a new advanced sleep AI algorithm for sleep analysis.
Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7 also come with Sleep Mode on SmartThings, which dims the screen to avoid disturbing your sleep with light. You can also automate your connected devices using SmartThings for more peaceful nights. For example, with custom routines on SmartThings, effortlessly control your home's lighting, blinds, thermostat, and even your Samsung WindFree™ air conditioner, so that the latter’s WindFree™ technology[11] and 23,000 micro air holes[12] gently and evenly disperse cool air, creating the ideal conditions for restful and restorative sleep.
[1] For Samsung Health AI features, the health data tracked from Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra and Galaxy Watch7 must be synchronised with the Samsung Health app. Needs at least the previous day’s activity, sleep data and heart rate data during sleep. Not intended for use in the detection, diagnosis or treatment of any medical condition.
[2] Energy Score is intended for general wellness and fitness purposes only. Energy Score is only supported in Galaxy Watch4 series and later released Samsung Galaxy Watch models. To check the Galaxy AI-powered Energy Score, the health data tracked from Samsung Galaxy Watch must be synchronised with the Samsung Health app. Previous activity, sleep data and heart rate data during sleep must be tracked.
[3] Wellness Tips is available on Android phones (Android 11 or above) and requires Samsung Health app (v6.27 or above). Samsung account login is required. Service availability may vary by country or region. Not intended for use in the detection, diagnosis or treatment of any medical condition. The result is for your personal reference only. Please consult a medical professional for advice.
[4] Available in select countries only.
[5] Service available with user’s consent.
[6] Race is available for outdoor running and outdoor cycling only. For comparative measurements, it is required to run on the same path as the pre-generated path. Users can compare by selecting one of the records from a previous timeframe of up to 14 days. Comparing records through Race is only available when starting at the same location as the previous record’s start point. It will be converted to running mode automatically if it deviates from its previous path by more than 10%.
[7] Personalisation of Heart Rate Zone is enabled when selecting an outdoor run activity. It is required to run consistently for more than 10 minutes with speeds of 4km/h or faster.
[8] To measure personalised FTP, a Galaxy smartphone must be connected to a power meter. In order to calculate a more accurate FTP, it is necessary to connect the Galaxy Watch to a smartphone. The FTP is calculated automatically when cycling occurs at a mid to high intensity level for more than 4 minutes with the cycling power meter attached to your bicycle. Using machine learning, the more users ride repeatedly, the more accurate and personalised FTP values will be calculated. The cycling power meter is sold separately. Traditional FTP analysis duration on professional equipment is up to 1 hour on average.
[9] Compared to previous Galaxy Z Fold models. Galaxy Z Fold6 has a peak brightness of 2600 nits on both the Main Screen and Cover Screen. The displays are adaptive, adjusting brightness level automatically based on the environment. In an area of 5000 lux or higher, High Brightness Mode and Vision Booster will be activated.
[10] Compared to previous Galaxy Watch series.
[11] ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers) defines “Still Air” as air currents at speeds below 0.15m/s that lack the presence of cold drafts.
[12] This features the AR9500T WindFree™ Air Conditioners.
