MCIS Insurance Berhad (“MCIS Life”) announces a substantial donation to the Heart Failure Resource Centre at Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL), reaffirming its commitment to enhancing community well-being and strengthening healthcare support.
The donation, consisting of office chairs, mobile drawers, art canvas prints, and a television, was officially presented during a ceremony at the Centre. In recognition of this generous support, HKL awarded MCIS Life a Certificate of Appreciation, highlighting the company's dedication to improving both the operational environment and patient care at the Heart Failure Resource Centre. Chitra Sridharan, the Chief Customer Experience and Marketing Officer of MCIS Life, graced the handover ceremony and received the Certificate of Appreciation for MCIS Life.
Datin Seri Sunita Mei-Lin Rajakumar, Independent Non-Executive Director at MCIS Life, commented “At MCIS Life, giving back to the community is not just a principle but a deeply ingrained commitment that guides our actions both professionally and personally. The ceremony provided a platform for MCIS Life and HKL to express mutual appreciation, underscoring the positive impact of such contributions on patient well-being.

This support is invaluable in enhancing our operations and improving the environment for both staff and patients.”

This project, which involved planting over 6,280 rainforest endemic trees, is projected to offset approximately 567 tons of carbon emissions by 2029.
