A moment of elegance and innovation was witnessed at the 19th Piala Seri Endon 2024 Annual Batik Design Competition organised by Yayasan Budi Penyayang Malaysia, as Her Majesty Raja Zarith Sofiah Queen of Malaysia graced the NIVEA booth with her presence. NIVEA returns to this annual event as the official skin care partner showcasing cutting-edge skincare science embodied in its No.1 Anti-Spot Expert LUMINOUS630 while supporting the mission to preserve Malaysia’s rich batik heritage.
During the visit, Her Majesty, accompanied by Dato’ Leela Mohd Ali, CEO of Yayasan Budi Penyayang Malaysia (PENYAYANG), was warmly welcomed by Dr. Christopher Vierhaus, Country Manager of Beiersdorf Malaysia & Singapore, as they engaged in an insightful conversation about the World’s No.1 Anti-Spot Serum – NIVEA LUMINOUS630 Anti-Spot Serum. This revolutionary skincare solution tackles both visible and ‘hidden’ dark spots that have yet to surface, often forming deep within the skin layers. These hidden dark spots are formed by excess melanin accumulating deep within the skin layers, initially invisible to the naked eye. Over time, as the skin naturally renews itself, these hidden spots gradually rise to the surface, becoming more prominent and harder to treat.
Dr. Christopher Vierhaus, Country Manager of Beiersdorf Malaysia & Singapore, shared, “Most people address skin issues only after they appear. However, through extensive research by our German skin scientists, we have developed a breakthrough anti-spot ingredient that has proven effective not just on visible dark spots but also in tackling those hidden ones. The NIVEA LUMINOUS630 Anti-Spot Serum, featuring patented Thiamidol, the most effective anti-spot ingredient, has recently been validated by over 100 doctors and pharmacists in Malaysia. This serum has earned its reputation as the World’s No.1* Anti-Spot Serum, supported by Nielsen global market track data. Thiamidol, the first human tyrosinase inhibitor proven to effectively reduce hyperpigmentation at its root without harming skin. This has been published in the prestigious Journal of Investigative Dermatology (JID). Additionally, the serum has been recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records for the ‘Largest Participation in Anti Dark-Spot Challenge,’ where thousands of Malaysians shared positive ‘tested and proven’ testimonials. With results demonstrating up to an 82% reduction in dark spots and enhanced skin luminosity, this serum is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.”
In a gesture of appreciation, NIVEA gifted Her Majesty an exclusive set from the NIVEA LUMINOUS630 range. Dr. Vierhaus expressed his honour in presenting the set to Her Majesty, the NIVEA LUMINOUS630 Anti-Spot Serum.
“NIVEA’s presence as the official skincare partner for the fourth consecutive year, highlights our commitment to much more than just skincare. Our core value of 'care beyond skin' embodies a holistic approach, where we aim to support and celebrate Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage alongside enhancing skin health. The Piala Seri Endon event allows us to showcase our world-class anti-spot innovations that can benefit many Malaysians, while also fostering a deep appreciation for the nation’s artistic traditions and values. We are genuinely delighted to continue our support for this esteemed event, whose mission to nurture and honour Malaysia’s batik heritage aligns perfectly with our dedication to caring for both people and culture, “added Dr. Vierhaus.
