This concludes BananaBro’s 2023 Zero Hunger campaign in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Pillar 2 BananaBro, Malaysia’s everyday curry place and banana leaf powerhouse fed 500 homeless individuals in Kuala Lumpur, another important step in their efforts towards a hunger-free world. This was the culmination of BananaBro’s Zero Hunger initiative that began in September of this year in collaboration with Sunway University. The first phase saw BananaBro set up a booth in Sunway University with the primary objective of selling 500 "Buy 1 Craving Set, 1 Craving Set goes to Charity '' vouchers. A total of 248 vouchers were sold, showcasing the community's support for the cause and BananaBro’s commitment to addressing hunger-related issues.
