CTOS study reveals that consumers with high credit scores are 5X more likely to secure loan approvals than those with the lowest scores
CTOS, Malaysia’s leading credit reporting agency, has released a summary of findings regarding the correlation of consumers’ MyCTOS Scores against their chances of securing loan financing. Using a sample of over 250,000 applications for financing within one month of the MyCTOS Score report being checked, the study highlights the disparity in loan approval rates between the various CTOS score categories. “Access to credit is a practical necessity today. Much more than a means to make purchases, credit enables people to meet everyday needs like housing and modes of transport, and improves their standard of living,” explained Erick Hamburger, Group CEO of CTOS Digital Berhad. “Being in a position to know how likely you are to be able to access credit is very important to understanding your own personal financial health.” The study showed that overall, those consumers with an ‘excellent’ CTOS score, were five times more likely to have their credit applications approved, compared to those w

Consumers win gold by taking charge of their credit health
CTOS Data Systems Sdn Bhd, Malaysia’s leading credit reporting agency, recently rewarded consumers who took the initiative to keep up to date with their credit health by checking their CTOS Score, with over RM20,000 worth of gold. Maybank wins CTOS Inter-Financial Institutions Badminton Championship 2022
Over 300 employees from 24 Financial institutions participate in one of sectors biggest tournaments Over 300 participants from 24 financial institutions recently competed in CTOS Inter-Financial Institutions Badminton Championship 2022, one of the sector’s largest annual local badminton tournaments. The CTOS Inter-Financial Institutions Badminton Championship 2022 saw the nation’s leading financial institutions send their best shuttlers to demonstrate their skills and to foster stronger relationships within Malaysia’s financial sector while promoting healthy work-life balance. The recently concluded championship held at Sports Arena Puchong saw Maybank emerging as the final champion, carrying off the Premier Cup Challenge Trophy and a cash prize of RM5,000. This is one of the financial sector’s largest annual local badminton tournaments which saw 24 teams competing this year, double the number which participated in the inaugural championship in 2017.
