TV vs The Big Screen Magic At Home

In today’s society, we see a surging demand for digital screening as we move towards digitalization. Streaming services such as Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, HBO, and Amazon Prime have been increasingly popular, and are some of the most sought for platforms to stream movies, variety shows, documentaries as well as drama series. During the start of the pandemic, we were unable to visit cinemas and enjoy movies on the big screen. We were all stuck at home, and could only stream movies on out television, laptop, and phone, which are smaller as compared to the big screen that cinemas have. Although we are now allowed to go back into the cinemas but who wouldn’t want to achieve cinema experiences at the safety and comfort of their own homes? To do that, you could simply invest in projectors! There are many misconceptions of projectors and many would often think that projectors require high maintenance as they need regular servicing, a large space for it to work, difficult installation, and man

Designing The Workplace of The Future

COVID-19 has forced a large segment of the workforce to work-from-home (WFH) over the last two years. Ever since the internet and technology allowed us to communicate remotely, people have been working outside of the office albeit not as popular and widely accepted. However, the current rise of WFH arrangements has shown us that it has been very possible to work remotely and still get the job done. All it took was a catalyst to prove that this concept is highly desirable. In fact, according to EY 2021 Work Reimagined Employee Survey , only 22% of Malaysian employees would prefer to work from office full-time after the pandemic eases and 8 out of 10 employees would prefer to work from home entirely. With that in mind, companies may consider adapting the remote working concept by introducing hybrid work arrangements. Hybrid workspaces is a business model that combines the perks of both remote and office work. For companies, this is an economical solution that would save thousands in bud

Get Creative in Office This Chinese New Year

With Chinese New Year just around the corner, many families are preparing for a huge day of celebration. A lot of people will donate some money to a charity that they admire, and most will spend time cleaning up the house and sweeping away any ‘bad luck’ to make way for good fortune. Red decorations and cut out paper couplets with words such as ‘happiness’, ‘wealth’ and ‘longevity’ are put on display to welcome in all of the new luck. But the celebrations aren’t just happening in homes across Malaysia. There has been an increase in celebrations between work mates, whether it be food, gifts or decorations around the workplace, as many businesses are
