Greening CFS Corridor: Aligning Awareness With Action

IC-CFS continues public awareness program with the Johor State Forestry Department as part of the 100 Million Tree-Planting Campaign The Improving Connectivity in the Central Forest Spine (IC-CFS) Project today launched Greening CFS Corridor, a public awareness program with the Johor State Forestry Department following the first Communication, Education and Public Awareness (CEPA) programme in Perak last November. The Greening CFS Corridor commemorates the 100 Million Tree-Planting Campaign under the Greening Malaysia Programme by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources (KeTSA). Through the Greening CFS Corridor, over 3,000 tree saplings consisting of native species mainly wild food tree plants and non-dipterocarps species will be planted including Merbau, Tampoi, and Kerdas. Citrine One Malaysia To Assist IC CFS In Communication Activity

Citrine One Malaysia (COMY), announced it has been appointed as the PR Agency of Record for a project under the Forestry Department of Peninsular Malaysia and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The Improving Connectivity in the Central Forest Spine (IC CFS) is a collaborative project to conserve biodiversity and improve the ecosystem. This would cover selected ecological corridors in Peninsular Malaysia within targeted states – Pahang, Perak, and Johor. The appointment starting in June was made following a presentation in early April. COMY presented a strategic and integrated PR approach combining media relations, digital marketing and community partnership to create awareness on the initiative made by the Forestry Department Peninsular Malaysia and UNDP.
