Santan redefines value with RM9.90 meals
Extends popular Santan Value Set for lunch and dinner at all outlets starting this week The phrase “what’s for lunch or dinner?” will no longer be a million dollar question as Santan’s got you covered! Starting this week, Santan is extending its RM9.90 Value Set for lunch (12pm-3pm) and dinner (6pm-9pm) at all of its nine outlets in Klang Valley. Santan Value Set comes with one meal and one drink and is available for dine-in, take away and delivery until 30 April 2021. Besides enjoying more value, dine-in customers can look forward to being served by AirAsia cabin crew at selected outlets this weekend (13 and 14 March 2021). Launched in February for three weeks exclusively at Santan Sunway Pyramid, the Value Set proved to be a huge hit for Santan as daily orders for the outlet increased 100 percent with close to 2,000 meals sold and 1,200 orders. Santan celebrates first anniversary with major milestones
Santan, the world's first restaurant brand to offer inflight food on the ground, today celebrated its first anniversary with major milestones amidst challenging times. Following the official franchise certificate awarded by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) in September, Santan has established five new franchise outlets in the Klang Valley excluding outlets at Mid Valley and Sunway Pyramid as well as another two outlets slated to open before the end of 2020. Three cloud kitchens have also been established in Cheras, Shah Alam and Sri Kembangan to further cater to the rising demand in the Klang Valley, especially through delivery service. Since the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO) was implemented in November, Santan saw an 80% growth in its delivery service, compared to 40% during the MCO (March - May 2020). Santan navigating through pandemic outbreak challenges
Tough times, but tougher people Lately, with the global pandemic that we are fighting together as humanity, a quote has been making its rounds. It goes like this: ‘Tough times don’t last, but tough people do’. Santan, an F&B brand which most would call the ‘new kid on the block’ resonates deeply with that quote. Setting up a restaurant business (well, any business for that matter) is no easy feat, but being thrown the pandemic and movement control order curveball was totally unexpected.
