Scoot’s First E190-E2 Aircraft Touches Down in Singapore

Scoot's first E190-E2 receives a water cannon salute upon arrival in Singapore Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA), today welcomes its first Embraer E190-E2 aircraft at Singapore Changi Airport. Named Explorer 3.0, the aircraft is the first of Scoot’s nine new E190-E2s to arrive in Singapore. The second aircraft is scheduled to arrive by the end of April while the remaining seven are expected to be progressively delivered by the end of 2025. The first E190-E2 aircraft was handed over to Scoot at Embraer’s production facility in São José dos Campos Brazil on 11 April 2024. The aircraft departed from Brazil on 12 April 2024, and made several fuel stops before it was greeted with a water cannon salute upon arrival in Singapore this afternoon. Scoot Unveils First Six Southeast Asian Destinations on its New E190-E2, including New Destinations Koh Samui and Sibu

The first Embraer E190-E2 is expected to be delivered in April 2024, with its inaugural flight to Krabi planned for 7 May 2024 The E190-E2s will enhance Scoot’s network connectivity across the region with direct flights from Singapore to new and existing destinations Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines (SIA), today unveiled six Southeast Asian destinations that its fleet of new Embraer E190-E2 aircraft will fly to. These include new destinations Koh Samui and Sibu, as well as existing destinations in Malaysia and Thailand including Hat Yai, Kuantan, Krabi, and Miri. Scoot’s E190-E2 services are expected to begin in May 2024, after the first of nine aircraft is delivered in April from Embraer’s manufacturing facility in São José dos Campos, Brazil.
